Letters From Our Readers
In our last newsletter, I asked our readers for ideas for making those "green" grocery bags a bit more attractive. I just want to share a photo of a couple of wonderful ideas that were sent to me. I will add more as they come in.

"In answer to your challenge, I made these bags using designs in software. I used one design, and combined it to make a pattern. I created these for a class." -- Jan S.
Here is a great tip I received and want to share:
"So many of us have the same problem sewing triangular pieces; often the machine chews up the ends and stuffs it all into the machine! If this has happened to you, I have the 'fix' for that ... and it works every time!
"Place the point of the triangle on to a small piece of Carol Doak's Foundation Paper, with the paper showing on three sides; then, sew a few stitches into the paper first. Just continue to sew your seam. No more chewed up fabrics. You will never again have any fabric squares or triangles gagging your machine."
-- Judy L.
