Let's Bind It!
I know, now, that with the new fabric lines coming soon to the local shops, I must prepare. I tend to hoard fabric to the point that I'm afraid I will use it on the wrong project. I save and save, thinking that it will be the perfect choice for the next project. The only way I can justify buying more fabric is to use some of what I have first. Now that's one way to downsize the stash. If you have any great tips on reducing the size of your stash, please share it with all of us fabric hoarders. Personally, I could use a few more creative ways to downsize. I'm doing some charity quilts for a local hospital, but much of my stash isn't appropriate for baby quilts. I sure could use some more suggestions.
All best,

Carolyn S. Vagts
Editor, Quilter's World magazine
Carolyn's designs have been published regularly in several magazines, including Quilter's World. She also lectures and teaches workshops to guilds.
The creative process has been a notable part of her life. She studied drawing, pottery and sculpture in college and received a Liberal Arts degree. She finally found her niche in quilting as a fiber artist. She hopes to bring a fresh, new outlook to Quilter's World.
