I love to hear what other quilters are doing, what inspires them, and of course, any helpful tips. If you have something you would like to share, please email me at Editor@QuiltersWorld.com. I love hearing from our readers, and I love to pass along tips and tricks to other quilters. -- Carolyn
"I cut any fabric 10 inches or less left from a project into the largest strip I can all the way down to 1 1/2-inch strips or squares. I bought snap-top plastic boxes at the dollar store and labeled them by size of strip or square. They stack neatly. I can find the size I want, and best of all, they don't dump out if (when) I drop a box." -- Rosalyn G.
"I just wanted to tell you how glad I was to read your latest tip about cutting up all your scraps into 2 1/2-, 5- and 10-inch squares plus 2 1/2-inch strips. With all the quilts I do, I hate to throw out anything. I had a bin-full sorted by color, but just thrown in bags, and I now (still working at it) have nice neat pieces ready for quilting. My stash has increased. I have done many, many quilts -- mostly throw size. My family doesn't understand why I keep making them. I just love creating. I have sold some at church events; I'd to sell more. Plus, I have given away some. Do other quilters feel like they are doing too many? I have no other quilters around me. I just love all the new fabrics that keep coming out. I have to play. I'm always looking for new ideas; thanks again for this one." -- Susan
