I hope you've enjoyed our newsletters and found ideas in them to spark your creativity. I hope that the wonderful tip and tricks our readers have sent in and shared have been as helpful to you as they've been to me. I am always amazed at what I still have to learn. Life's a journey, and I'm eager to travel down each and every path -- especially if it leads to more quilting.
For me, I am going to challenge myself again this year to create something with the color of the year, Emerald. I don't know what it will be yet, but I will definitely be brainstorming and sketching. I do have a few ideas. It was a wonderful experience this last year. I hope you will do the same. I would love to hear from you about your quilting journey, be it the Pantone Challenge or a challenge you choose for yourself.
All best,

Carolyn S. Vagts
Editor, Quilter's World magazine
Carolyn's designs have been published regularly in several magazines, including Quilter's World. She also lectures and teaches workshops to guilds.
The creative process has been a notable part of her life. She studied drawing, pottery and sculpture in college and received a Liberal Arts degree. She finally found her niche in quilting as a fiber artist. She hopes to bring a fresh, new outlook to Quilter's World.
Fill out my easy feedback form and let me know your thoughts, questions, news or anything else you want to tell me about. You never know, I may feature it in an upcoming issue of Quilter's World newsletter. Keep reading!
