Participating in or viewing the results of a fabric challenge can be very enlightening. It allows you to see how other quilters see and use the same fabric. It opens your mind to other possibilities you've not thought of. Sometimes it's important to challenge yourself to see things in a different way.
Recently, the question was asked by one of our readers, "Why do we quilt, and where do quilters get their ideas?" That question isn't an easy one to answer. Quilters have many reasons to quilt, and for each individual, it varies. As for inspiration, I can only answer for myself.
