I received Quilter's World magazine in the past and I made several of the lap quilts and quilts. I got several ideas from the magazine. Also, I really like to see the older quilts you have from past generations. I machine quilt because of carpal tunnel and the "How To" instructions are great.

My nine-year old son, Mark is a huge racing fan! When I saw the pattern for "Checkers" in Quilter's World magazine, I knew I found the ideal quilt for Mark! I modified it a bit for his favorite driver and created a twin-sized quilt. He loves all car-racing, so I included various "car racing" fabrics. He was so excited; he couldn't wait for it to come back from the quilter! Now, in addition to finding a home on his bed, it goes virtually everywhere in our home. Thank you for the inspiration to make this quilt for my son! I love your magazine! It has many patterns that I can't wait to try, and some that I already have!
